NF
Nathan John Feuerstein (born March 30 1991) and known by his initials NF (stylized as IF) is an American rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer. He has released two EPs with Capitol CMG, "I'm Free" (2012) and [3as well as a self-titled EP in 2014. His first major-label album, Mansion, was released on March 31, 2015. His second studio album, Therapy Session, was released on April 22, 2016, and peaked at the number 12 spot on the US Billboard 200. His albums have earned many distinctions, including the Gospel Music Association Dove Award Rap/Hip Hop album of the year (Therapy Session). NF gained mainstream recognition through Perception in the year 2017. The album charted on the charts in the United States at number one and was certified platinum. "Let You Fall" hit number twelve on the. Billboard Hot 100 topped the international charts and was a top ten hit. He achieved similar commercial success in his follow-up album The Search (2019). Feuerstein claimed that rap was his escape from the world in his youth. Feuerstein recorded his songs using the Karaoke Machine and recorded his instrumentals on one mic, and his raps on one. On the 29th of November 2010 Feuerstein independently released his debut album Moments under his real name. He released "Alone" as his debut single on August 2, 2011. Brooke Griffith and Tommee Profitt were the song's writers and producers. Xist Music discovered Feuerstein's work in 2012 and was intrigued by his music. Feuerstein released his extended version of I'm Free on May 2nd, 2012 with production work by Profitt. The tracklist contained nine songs, including "Alone". The EP also featured an exclusive version featuring Sean Simmonds of "Alone". Xist announced the release of the self-titled extended track, NF. However, Feuerstein broke off from the label during the midst of a disagreement. The release of NF was delayed. NF included a track, "Only One", featuring Shuree Williams on the label's compilation album, Move Vol 1 On the 4th of November, 2013, he issued the single "Beautiful Addiction" and it came out on the 4th of November. The song again featured an appearance by Profitt, as well as the voices of Brady Schmitz and Danielle Swift.
